There are some essentials conditions to become part of the egg donation program of an Assisted Reproductive Centre. The first part consists of a personal interview where the Centre will explain the interested woman all the process very detailed, all the requirements, previous tests, medication, egg collection techinque, risks, etc. In case she wants to go ahead, she will have a second interview where the Centre collects all her medical information and she reads and signs all the informed consents. Sperm FISH test

The male factor is involved in almost 50% of infertility cases attending a clinic.

Recent studies have shown that men with low sperm count present a higher incidence of aneuploidies (abnormalities in chromosome number) in their sperm, comparing with general population.
